Join Columbus Gives Back during Columbus YP Week at Chocolate Café to make blankets to be delivered by My Very Own Blanket to children in foster care. This event is for novices and pros alike, as we will be making and assembling no-sew blankets just like these:
No Sew Blanket Instructions.Volunteers are asked to pay $10 per blanket they want to make and the 2 yards of fleece will be provided by My Very Own Blanket. Come and enjoy a drink (if you wish), meet other new volunteers, and get in touch with your crafty side!

First Time Volunteering Event, geared specifically towards individuals who have not volunteered with us in the past. Anyone is welcome to sign up and come! The event leaders will be prepared to welcome the volunteers and answer any questions about getting involved in the organization going forward. To top it all off,
after the event volunteers will be invited to Dewey’s Pizza in Grandview Heights to enjoy Complimentary Pizza! Please volunteer
only if you have not been to one of our volunteer events.

About My Very Own Blanket: My Very Own Blanket is a local nonprofit dedicated to helping children in foster care feel valued and comforted by making and delivering personalized blankets and other personal items to children in foster care.
