Columbus Gives Back invites you to join
Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) for one of the coolest community projects you can find. After a spectacular experience down the street painting in Wedgewood Middle School, CRIS will work with staff, students, and families of Eakin Elementary School (a refugee and immigrant heavy population) and volunteers like you to transform their cafeteria walls into a beautiful mural designed with input from the students themselves to help make the school feel like their own.
Register to attendWhat to Bring: Please wear clothing you do not mind getting some paint on. The prep work will almost entirely be complete, so all you will really have to do is paint in the lines. If volunteers could bring some medium/ small acrylic brushes, that would be wonderful!
About CRIS: Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) is an independent non-profit organization and refugee resettlement agency that resettles individuals and families from all over the world and serves the growing refugee and immigrant populations in Central Ohio with a tremendous amount of programs.
#SocialTwist: After the event, we encourage you to join us for food or drinks and have fun with other cool volunteers like you!
