Join Columbus Gives Back during Columbus YP Week to serve dinner to individuals at
Faith Mission's Community Kitchen. We will be serving dinner, cafeteria style to the men in the community. Wear comfortable clothing, tie your hair back if necessary, and prepare to serve all your favorites: mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, chicken/rice, or whatever else the kitchen whips up that day. If you are opposed to hair nets you can bring a hat to wear.
Where to meet: Once you arrive, there is a sign in sheet at the front desk. Tell them you're here to serve and they will point you to the kitchen.
Additional information: All volunteers at Faith Mission must wear CLOSED-TOED SHOES. Hair nets, aprons, and gloves will be provided.
After the Event: For our #socialtwist, we will have dinner/drinks somewhere to celebrate our volunteering!
Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of our events, an accurate headcount is important. Please contact one of the event coordinators if you have RSVP'ed but are unable to attend this event.
About Faith Mission Community Kitchen: Faith Mission offers three meals a day every day of the year to anyone who needs it. Columbus Gives Back is proud to be a (small) part of this great community resource.
