YMCA "Walking School Bus" Community Clean-up

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

CYP Club Cares is hosting a group volunteer activity during Columbus YP Week with the YMCA Community Corps: Linden program. Volunteers will participate in a "Walking School Bus" community clean-up, walking along the children's Safe Routes to School near Hamilton and Windsor Elementary Schools.

Register to attend

Our activity is to walk along elementary school bus routes and collect refuse along the way. We will have only one shift. We'll meet at St. Stephen's, divide into two groups (or so) and then walk to our respective schools. We'll walk the actual Walking School Bus Routes, finishing up by 1:00pm, and then head back at St. Stephen's. We’ll head to a nearby location for lunch/drinks afterwards for those who want to stick around.

Who to Look For: This volunteer activity will be led by CYP Club Cares board members Tiffany Priest and Brent Cogar.

What to Wear: Please dress comfortably.

Where to Park: Parking is available for free at St. Stephen's Center!

Contact us if you have any questions about this event.
