The 2nd annual Columbus Young Professionals Week (April 23-April 29, 2018) is a collaborative calendar of events & activities celebrating Columbus and all there is to do around the city for emerging leaders, young professionals, and students. Stop by and help Ohio’s largest independent bookstore - The Book Loft of German VIllage - celebrate its forty-first year! Throughout the day, they will be raffling off prizes and giving away Advanced Reader’s Editions of upcoming children’s books.

SPECIAL GUESTS

1-3 p.m. Andrew Welsh-Huggins, journalist and author of the Andy Hayes Mysteries, will be greeting guests and signing copies of his new novel The Third Brother.

1-3 p.m. Kenneth Wright, co-owner of Verdigris Market Garden, will be in our cookbook room signing copies of his book Ken's Kitchen Garden: Creating a Life of Plenty: One Home’s Journey to Self Reliance.

2-4 p.m. Michael J. Rosen, writer, illustrator, author of over 125 books for children and adults, will be in our Children’s wing signing copies of Horse Haiku and his new poetry collection Every Species of Hope.

2-4 p.m. David Meyers and Elise Meyers, the author historians of many of our bestselling books, will be in our newly revamped local interest section promoting their new title Ohio's Black Hand Syndicate: The Birth of Organized Crime in America.

3-5 p.m. Dan Koboldt, geneticist and author of The Gateways to Alissia series, will be premiering his latest The World Awakening.
